Or canoeing on the Vienne or the Tardoire, let yourself be carried away by the current and enjoy the glistening water and the rapids in the barrages. Or visit one of the authentic villages with old Roman churches or charming towns with castles and delicious French cuisine. Catch your breath, find peace and new inspiration and enjoy the simple life in the French countryside.

The photo above is of the free outdoor swimming pool Les Prés du Peyras in Roumazières, less than 5 kilometers from us. In the summer months you can swim here, there are showers and toilets, a restaurant and a lifeguard!
