This season we start at Le Douvet with a new painting course, Painting from yourself, in collaboration with Marloes Bloedjes from Atelier Toverzicht. In this course Marloes helps you discover your own creativity in form and color. Join us on a journey of discovery and get inspired during this creative course week and at the same time enjoy a wonderfully arranged holiday at Le Douvet!

In this course we work with acrylic paint, the favorite material of Marloes Bloedjes. Every now and then we make a trip to mixed media techniques. It can happen that we work with plants, petals, ink, dust, paper, sand, ecoline, markers or you name it. To inspire you, you will be given various techniques and examples.

What touches you and the artist in you? What is the opening, the door, through which you gain access to this inner world? These are the questions we always ask before we get started. There is plenty of inspiration at Le Douvet. So you search both the terrain and the surroundings of Le Douvet, as well as yourself, for that little voice that shouts: Yes, I want that! This can be a flower one time, something abstract the next. And of course we can paint a landscape on location.

The pleasure of getting something onto the canvas, playing with colors and shapes and wondering, that’s what it’s all about. If the end result is successful, it is a nice bonus, but it is mainly about the confidence that you get in the artist in you and that the path he or she follows is the only correct one.

Marloes Bloedjes is a visual artist and has been teaching adults and children for more than 5 years. Her work is mainly recognizable by her specific warm use of color and the dreamy atmosphere. It concerns a fully catered course week based on full board, course and materials (7 nights, 7 x breakfast, 6 x lunch, 7 x dinner) and including tourist tax.

€ 600 per person Camping pitch
€ 700 per person Gite or guest loft
€ 725 per person Chambre d’Hôte, a double room with private bathroom, (price based on 2 people)

Le Douvet has two double rooms. One with private bathroom (Chambre d’hôte) the other in the Gîte with shared bathroom. When occupying these double rooms by 1 person, we request a single supplement of € 100.

Non-participating partners are also welcome and receive a discount on the above prices.

Participants: Minimum number of participants 5 and maximum 10 people.

If you register less than 5 students two months before the start of the course, we reserve the right to cancel the course week.

There are cancellation conditions applicable on request, these will be sent.

Participants receive an invoice for the Course, from Marloes Bloedjes, as well as for the stay at Le Douvet.
